Our Story
Founded in 1935 in St. Paul, Minnesota, Distribution Alternatives (DA), began as a single-warehouse operation during the depths of the Great Depression, delivering goods directly to local retailers with a promise of reliability and hard work. From those humble beginnings as Scholl’s Inc., we evolved through decades of wholesale distribution into Distribution Alternatives: a full-service 3PL rooted in the Midwest but built for nationwide reach. Along the way, we’ve stayed true to our roots; solving problems, serving with integrity, and growing alongside our customers.
Today, with over 2 million square feet of warehouse space across Minnesota, Texas, and California, DA provides scalable, tech-enabled logistics solutions for retail, eCommerce, and franchise distribution.
